Engineering Analysis at the Hengelo office has used FEM analyses to support its client in developing a Wing Test Rig. We applied the Test Rig to perform endurance tests on the wing, from loads during landings to loads during flight.
An important aspect are high dynamic fatigue loads, both on the wing and on the Test Rig itself. Moving from a concept to a detailed design, we have used our knowledge and skills to work with our client to create a design that we are proud of!
