Twister markets a number of products for processing natural gas and separating substances from it. For the Twister® supersonic separator, VIRO provided the detail engineering and worked out the concept design. We were also asked to assist with the manufacturing and the production of manuals for inspection, assembly, installation, and transport. The work also included the inspection of manufactured and assembled parts.
Mechanical Engineering supported Engineering Analysis in the 3D modelling and production of drawings and documentation. Engineering Analysis performed all the structural FEM analyses of the Twister. This included static, dynamic, thermal, linear, and nonlinear analyses and code calculations in accordance with ASME and PED/CE. The Twister® supersonic separator is now used for gas production worldwide.
