For one of Europe’s leading aviation companies we collaborated with specialist companies to develop and deliver hydraulically driven aerospace installations. These are intended for testing the ‘captive parts’, including the flaps, of aircraft in development.
Based on the points of departure and CATIA models, the test bench was designed in close consultation with the supplier of the hydraulics and other subcontractors. These multidisciplinary projects included steel structural, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical engineering aspects as well as extensive dynamic response and strength calculations. We also handled the project management, construction supervision, and aftercare.
